Much-hyped Kerry has little to offer voters

Well I agree he's "much-hyped", and I agree he's got little to offer. If it weren't that the alternative is the spawn of Hades, he shouldn't be considered. But such is the choice given to the American electorate.

As for CHRISTIAN P. MILORD, how does one tell a Neanderthal that not only is there a better way, but I doubt you'll ever understand? How do you teach tensor calculus to a chimpanzee? From his statements, he not only doesn't have the answers, he will never know the question.

In a system of checks and balances designed to protect the liberty of the populace to pursue their happiness and fulfillment, how do you balance the power of large accumulations of capital that are not only the product, but the sine qua non, of the industrial and post industrial ages? Since our country began at the birth of the Industrial Revolution, the Founding Fathers not only didn't address this problem, they couldn't anticipate that it would ever exist. As the Swedish example testifies, classic socialism stultifies, but unbridled capitalism is barbarous. Is the solution some Golden Mean between the two, or something different from either? If a solution to this conundrum is not devised, creeping corporatism will push us into fascism. The problem is urgent. We're currently perched on the tipping point precipice.

So even though Kerry has little to offer in solving the basic problem, if he prevents us from being plunged into irreversible fascism, that's reason enough to vote for him.
