I agree, and have been seeing that for awhile now.
One bright spot is that most seniors that I know don't carry credit card debt.

Another sector that will probably be hit hard is Mom & Pop businesses, once their energy bills start cutting into profitability.

The sad thing is that retired seniors who lost income on their CDs are being pushed into riskier assets. Junk bonds funds, real estate scams, etc.
