yes, i agree they'll connect the dots eventually. however, what will they do then, go to the voting booths?

i believe that the citizens back then had more power than they do now... they had more power because their numbers would go further in a conflict than they would now. now technology can control or kill in very large numbers.

you and i know there isn't much to choose from at the voting booths that will be a great change from what we have now.

you didn't spell it out, but i'm guessing that you're talking more about 'evolution' from the voting booth, rather than revolution and overthrow. evolution would be preferable to overthrow and the chaos that would ensue.

i'm just wondering what the bottom line could be..

You are assuming they will turn off their brain feeds, that is to say, televisions. Even today, 3 years after the tech bubble popped, I see very little critical thinking going on, and instead, simply read or hear about the ramping up of debt to sustain the lifestyle American's feel they are entitled to.
