<The botched transistor episode? No Rambus this time around. >

However this time around there is no CuMine on the horizon to save them either.

And Intel's MP server story is deteriorating rapidly. Dell is under much pressure now. Mike is a monogamous fellow until his balls end up in a wise.

First, I wonder whether DELL wouldn't be able to supply a 2.4 GHz PC with 1M L2. That would tell me the major problem is binsplits and then we should see a gazillion Prescott Celerons real soon now.

If DELL can't get Prescott soon, they will tell INtel they only want LGA Prescotts which would put enormous pressure on the LGA transition, which also involves chipsets that aren't quite ready yet.
