I'm starting a petition to disallow Lazarus Long's SS and Medicare benefits since he is an incurable RWE

I'm betting that if you agreed to return all the taxes he and his employer have paid on his account, and pay him a return equal to the stock market return over those years, and exempt him from future SS taxes, he would take you up on it.

I know I would.

I refer you to Mr. Hodgkin's response. As I said, you can't ethically leave current contributors with nothing; for one thing, they had no choice about participation.

You will owe about a 7% average return on the first money out in; however, this will have to be treated as an annuity I have been paying into. I will get back to you. I assure you neither you nor SS will like the answer.

However, I am most grateful for your offer to get me bought out and expect you will pursue it with the greatest vigor.

Fantastic. Screw this 62 or 65 crap; I think I can get out now.
