Good grief, you have snow where you live? The reason I asked about broadband, or cable, is that I now earn my living over the Internet. Cable or broadband is practically a necessity. While I am permitted to use the phone lines, I understand that the phone companies are taking a hard line with us "always on" people. Additionally, we are considered business clients, rather than just ordinary folks, and they sock it to us or cancel our service altogether. - Holly
