I wonder if links and the use of an excerpt or two are acceptable? Absolutely. An "abstract" and URL is perfectly acceptable.

I wonder if links and the use of an excerpt or two are acceptable? That is fine. If I have to, I will post a headline and a paragraph, plus a link. The problem with this is that the article is not available after a few days, in Taranto's case, day of publication only. Plus it is one hell of a lot easier to read here. I haven't used the Chronicle for an article in months. Taranto's daily is emailed to me. I will just check for Chronicle articles in it from now on. Same with Kurtz's.
