I think that people remember how the republicans treated the last president and are giving it back to this president

I think the same people also forget what went in in those first four years inside the Clinton admin, and how bad it got the next couple of years. The Republicans were angry over Clinton getting into office in spite of his personal behavior. When it kept up and got worse, they went ballistic.

The Dems have a right to be unhappy about the actions taken by the Bush Admin, but there is no excuse for the personal attacks. There was an excuse for the personal attacks on Clinton.

Clinton got what he deserved. There are a lot of folks who
think that the President of the US should not continue to
philander in the Oval office & then repeatedly lie to the
American public about it without serious repercussions.
And don't forget that the Clinotn's did perfect the
politics of personal destruction in their 8 years in the
White House, ET AL.

How does that give the left any right to give "it back to
this president"?
