You did well in the short term here. I'm not too
concerned about straitaway being 5% in the hole...
well, concerned enough to post a message about it,
but so far I think I'll get it back--my guess is
that tyx goes from 5% to 7% over the next two years,
just enough to take the froth of the real estate
market and such.

My mental stop would be around $18 for RYJUX, lessee,
that would put the 30 year bond around the lows of
last June I think--which obviously I think is unlikely
to happen.

I'm not losing any sleep over this bet--I wont
let myself lose more than a few grand.

I see I am now 200 posts behind in this thread,
and about that many in the bond market bubble
thread as well.

good show -- cutting losses more important that letting profits run ... sometimes I sit too long.
