In Tucker Carlson's book he relates an incident from a Crossfire show a few years ago. The producers of the show got hold of a grainy tape made by undercover DEA agents. The people in the tape were an undercover agent and Sharpton, decked out in a cowboy hat and cowboy boots. It shows Sharpton leaning back in his chair, boots on the desk, calmly talking about moving some serious weight in cocaine - like in the kilos.

After watching the tape Carlson asked Sharpton what he had to say about that. Sharpton didn't miss a beat. He said he wouldn't comment on the tape until Carlson showed the second tape. Which got Carlson a little flustered, his first thought was his producers had dropped the ball and not known of the second tape or hadn't bothered to tell him about it. So the subject was dropped.

There was of course, no second tape.

Sharpton and Carlson still joke about that today...
