< Can't have globalization without equalization.> Man have you hit the nail on the head! The big question is whether the equalization occurs due to others rising to an ever-increasing "standard" of living, or if we're tapping out the productive capacity of the planet, in energy, raw materials, and capital. If it's the latter, then this equalization may actually result from a rising standard of living abroad, but declining standards here. BC
