Al quaeda making use of locals and locals making use of al quaeda. Both will deny, deny, deny. This is what we were worried about with bin laden and sadaam--different agendas dont rule out cooperation when it suits both needs at the time. mike

For starters the Brussels-based World Observatory of Terrorism, an independent think tank affiliated with the European Strategic Intelligence and Security Center, points to five major reasons that cast doubt on the involvement of ETA.

It's possible that this is an ETA splinter group (ETA is apparently quite splintered) that has taken some training & inspiration from Al Qaeda.
