BS, Neocon.

The inflation in basic necessities such as ALL insurance, gasoline and electric and gas utlities is skyrocketing. Housing costs as well, so far.

Off-shoring is eliminating middle-class buying power.

It doesn't matter how cheap goods and services produced by US corporations employing uninsured and unprotected third-world workers are or will become, when there is no "mass American consumer" class to buy them.

I don't think this argument works in an IP based economy. When we offshore google engineering to india, we are damaging our own intellectual capital and creating competitors for industries we created only 5 years ago. The whole comparative advantage argument when it comes to intellectual capital fails the smell test. The politicians in the tech centers know it.

Would you care to elaborate on this?
