CNBC just now says letter rec'd in Arab media from Al Quaeda saying it was them. CNBC attributes late day plunge to this.

AP says Al Queda has sent letter admitting to the Madrid bombing.

If they can conclude with some credibility it was in fact Al Queda, (they will look at the markers in the explosive residue and find the maker) then this is a huge expansion of their network and markets in Europe, the US & Canada are due for some serious selling.

We don't even have to get into how it will slow down air travel, etc. The economic cost will continue to be high..
