Market as an investing mechanism is beyond broken Come on, nobody ever complains when the market is bid up to unsustainable levels. This thread in particular tends to be trading-oriented and is not about investing but ST volatility. The market is doing what it is supposed to do. The ST is always about psychology. Big LT investors like Buffett and Templeton have been sounding warning bells for some time that there was a lot of risk in the market and few good buying opportunities. The current correction is tailor-made to get the market to more attractive levels for LT investment. I'm not saying it feels good, but this correction was a long time in coming. Sam
