thanks very interesting. I am trying to read up on the 30s and 70s bust periods. There is so little the US economy has in common with Japan that I gave up trying to gauge our problems against the Japan bust. BTW the infosys tax situation was California legislators doing, not workers really. My guess is that Sacramento sees offshorers like Infosys as drags on the CA economy, after all their entire business is offshoring, leaving 2 taxpayers in California where there once was forty. Looks like Carly Fiorina went on yet another firing spree. Wouldn't it be great to get rid of her. HP ahead on cost cut targets after merger - CEO biz.yahoo.com
