If this dislocation actually brings about a serious public debate on tax policy, i will be both amazed and ecstatic.

I agree with you. Our SS tax system is grossly unfair. I'm just disappointed that the Kerry supports who claim his tax policies, which don't do a thing to change the SS tax, represent fair taxation. If that's their definition of fair taxation, it sure ain't mine.
