i'll continue to wait along with you for their definition of "fair share"

ps..

i wonder if those who complain are contributing *more* than the current "unfair" share....seems nothing is stopping them from adding individually according to their sense of "fairness"..... more tax.

Hows this for an explanation.

Taxpayer A makes $80K/year and pays 40% in taxes including fica, federal income tax and any relevant state. (approx).

Taxpayer B makes $150K/year and pays 32%, this would be 40% on the first 85K of earnings and the federal rate on the final 65K.

The higher earner pays LESS in taxes. Sound fair to you? Doesn't sound fair to me.
