Productivity is all deficit spending by the public sector and so are the few jobs GW created. In case you don't know GDP counts deficit spending as a positive not a negative. That's why the GOp uses the GDP and not other measurements.

Low interest rates have propped things up with refis and cash-out real estate loans. greenspan has basically kept things float. But has created a real estate bubble just waiting to pop.

Corporations are only more profitable because they've fired everyone non essential, are out-sourcing to the third world and aren't going to hire anyone back in the US. The dollar is very-very weak and we're in more and more debt as a nation. That is, we're a poorer nation by about 35% since Bush took office.

Kerry's challenge is to change that. He will have to get very tough on the corps and inspire people to make that happen. it's a tough job but JK is very tough, fair and smart.
