Today's stock market should give you a clue as to what Americans think of terrorism. Fighting terrorism is a tactical matter that needs to be dealt with. We all need to be on alert and invest in some anti-terrorist procedures, patrol our borders better etc. But if the GOP thinks people are running around hiding under rocks wrt terrorism they are sadly mistaken. Terrorism is not the #1 concern on the minds of voters, the economy is.
