Nonsense. Too bad the Al-Qaeda folks don't share your opinion. And so they acted. Mind you, it was the Crusades that invaded Moslem territories. So it was they that started the seemingly never-ending series of tit-for-tats. The leadership of Al-Qaeda are hypocrites. Where was the fight against evil when it was being perpetrated upon the people of Iraq by the tyrant Saddam? That opinion of yours sounds good, doesn't it? But you are being very shallow and glib. I am not sure whether Al-Qaeda folks are hypocrites. To be sure, they are extremists and fanatics and are not afraid to die. By the same token could you say that 9/11 did happen only because US defenses were lax and their resources insufficient to nip 9/11 in the bud???? IMHO, Al-Qaeda did not act in the Iraq war presumably because either 1) they don't like Saddam and Saddam does not like them OR 2) Iraqi forces did not or could not coordinate action with them. Most likely such a lack of coordination was due to effective Allied action. 3. Also, before the Al-Qaeda could act, Saddam's forces had been bribed big time into losing the fight. If 1,2, & 3 are correct, is it surprising Al-Qaeda were nowhere to be seen fighting in Iraq? IC, you are one of the sheep that compulsively swallow all that the media throws at you. Go back and sit on your prayer mat and meditate ever more deeply so that you won't make boo-boos again!!!
