No, JK is a pragmatist not a foolish idealist. If Bush was going to invade Iraq no matter what (nothing to do with 9-11) then JK would have had to risk all political capital by standing in his way, and at the same time, be quasi defending Saddam who everyone knows it a major-major creepy guy. Better to urge going at it smart and systematic, urging inspections and international coalition. Jk didn't see the rush to take out Saddam but was never a Saddam defender. On the contrary. JK wanted Saddam gone. Just wityh the right approach but the wrongheaded rushed unilateral approach.
