hardly,

i was playing with orcl's numbers last night after listening to the conference call. the eps line is about to go out of sight. if orcl's sales average 10%-20% sales growth going forward the eps line and margin expansion is mind boggling.

i would rather have a secure, strong subscription base type of revenue base compared to lisence sales. this is a fantastic model with high margins.

it should be a fun ride for orcl investor in the future.

Hi Hardly,

I'll definitely give it my ear.

I'm liking the numbers,as we go out.

To be honest I missed this growth ramo way too early. The last 4-6 quarters have resulted in numbers that justed bottomed out around.09 cents in earnings.

This ramp up to .12 with expectations of .18 is about a year behind my expectations.

I'm not complaining - I'll take it.

I had feared the takeover activity would hurt the bottom line - It can't be cheap arming attorneys in a wat that takes on the DOJ??

SAP still appears to be growing faster - this should help on the antitrust side of things.

I'm sure Larry doesn't get George's ear - so I'm thinking there is an uphill battle at least.

This takeover with Peoplesoft has stalled a price advance.Dropping the takeover would give us a pop to 15 -I'm thinking.

Winning the takeover will give us wonderful revenue growth and you ain't seen nothing yet in cost savings.

Either way - I like the ramping growth and am in a hold and accumulate on dips mode.

Watchingh anxiously to see if I get the stock put to me next friday at a net cost of 11.00 or keep 1.50 on the March 12.50 puts I sold last year.

I actually sold a little stock in the 13's -looking to make room for my new lower cost stock.Hope they put it to me.Mr Market has been pretty hard on all players.

Wondering if we get an ugly and long week to ponder our wealth.Should be a bounce some where next week - very oversold condition going on.

Thanks for the update.

Good to hear from you.

Bob
