Kaddafi hasn't been a threat to us in 15-20 years, yet the Cheney group insisted that DOD's Lt. Colonel KK's factual report abou this be altered to make Libya look like a current threat. That way the White House could claim credit for disarming an "enemy nation". The same thing they did with Iraq (hyping dangers, hiding the real intelligence) they did with Libya. Libya may have had weapons but they were never going to use them against us. What this is really about to Bush-cheney is politics and oil deals. But what else it is ever about with those guys?
