Those Bush charges dont hold water. Number one, any tax hikes will be for the rich only, the top 2%, and 900 billion is a figure they fabricated. So what do the other 98% of the voters care? And what was wrong with Clinton tax rates for the rich? Someone has to start paying down Bush's deficits, don't they? Number two, Bush rushed into war and fed us phony reasons for it. There were no WMD's and he still hasn't crushed Al Qaida. It would have been much smarter to wait and prepare ourselves for war, or better yet to finish off Al Qaida first. Even people who despised Saddam agree now he was probably no real threat and that Bush-Cheney lied about many aspects of the war. In fact they continue to lie to this way. Number three, the Patriot Act is going to be changed anyway, and we really can't trust the extreme rightwing to be in charge of such powers, it invites abuse. JK has said it's not the Patriot Act that's the problem it's the control freaks on the far right, the same ones who just got Howard Stern thrown off the air. Also, what terrorists has the Patriot Act been used to apprehend? Are there any? And if Bush is so tough on terrorists why did he let all the top Saudis flee the country on 9-11 including the Bin Lauden family? This year, even Bush's 150 million in slickster TV ads won't change reality. Bush has cried wolf too many times. His credibility is shot, along with his legion of liars on rightwing radio. None of them are to be trusted any longer.
