JK personaly witnessed atrocities in Nam. If telling the truth is slander to you, fine, but if you read JK's testimony his anger was aimed at the Nixonites and military brass, not the guys on the ground. A gunner on JK's own boat killed a kid in Nam, but JK wasn't blaming him, he was blaming the whole situation where we could not tell friend from foe and had no clear mission. So it's just the opposite of what you're claiming. You're just intentionally spinning the story around 180 degrees. JK has also spent his entire career fighting for vets rights. He will a large majority of veterans votes this year for good reason. They trust him and don't trust Bush who went AWOl and cut their benefits while handing out billions to his cronies.
