But according to the current head of Missouri Veterans for Kerry, Randy Barnes, Mr. Kerry,who was then 27,was at the meeting, voted against the plot, and then orally resigned from the organization. daily.nysun.com. I wonder why Kerry did not report this conspiracy to commit MURDER to the authorities??

You should watch PLATOON. That film was very realistic. When you're fighting with guys in the jungle you don't rat out the guy who could be covering your back. Besides, it could happen to anyone in Nam. It happened to Bob Kerrey and could have happened to JK too. So you cannot blame the soldiers, you have to blame the whole F'ed up situation, from the top down. That's just the way Nam was. The VC used women and kids as bombers. Sometimes it was one of those terrible ethical dilemmas but you just had to kill them. This sort of thing (plus drugs, heat, terror) drove many GI's mad. They started turning into killing machines, collecting ears, "enjoying it". This is what happens in some wars.
