MCLEAN, Va., March 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Uniquely identifying all drug products for use in the United States with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags will be key in combating the rise of counterfeit prescription drugs flowing across U.S. borders, according to Dr. Attilio Bellman at BearingPoint, Inc. The Food & Drug Administration has made a fundamental step towards a more secure pharmaceutical supply chain by publishing the "Combating Counterfeit Drugs" report, on February 18, 2004. The report suggests that the adoption and common use of reliable track-and-trace technology is feasible by 2007.

Dr. Bellman will address this industry issue at the PharmaIT Summit, March 16-18, in New York, at the Javits Convention Center on March 16 at 2:00pm. PharmaIT Summit is attended by key decision-makers within the pharmaceutical enterprise for setting IT strategies and making purchases.

To speak with Dr. Bellman, please contact Lizette Kodama at 212-954-2461 to schedule an in-person or phone interview.

For this and for the Baird pdf link - thanks. You have raised the ongoing question for me.
1. to invest in EM or one of the other majors ( a US label manfr. looks attractively situated, to take advantage of the the Wallmart initiative). or
2. a small cap such as Samsys. I look at the past 12 month performance of SMY. I wish I had followed your strategy of reducing exposure to DMX and shifting in SMY. Congrats on that move. SMY is still not back to where I last exited at($4.50+). So, I continue to wait for it to prove it can mature past the development stage. Good luck, Fox.
