Ted Kennedy's DIRECT ACTION caused Mary Jo Kopechne's death. Running the car off the bridge was an accident, but he could have tried to save her, he could have run for help and brought them back right away, but no. He thought of no one but himself and ran and hid, and thus showed his character or lack thereof. You can make an argument that Bush's actions (or lack thereof) indirectly led to 9/11; I personally think that Clinton's actions as Prez were a lot more culpable. I support every one of Bush's DIRECT ACTIONS of the war on terrorism since 9/11.

and he saved 1--'s of thousands and perhaps many American lives. I would rather fight al Q over in Iraq than here. Bush's actions may have changed the whole middle East and move it to a safer area. didn't you know the economy right now in Iraq is booming. Middleclass are starting to work, own business, banks are free , colleges can teach . etc. Bush didn't get out of car in the water and leave a young lady to die and not show up at police headquarters until the following morning.
