LOL Tom I am a technical analyst and trader so clearly I'm not suggesting this stuff doesn't work, but I eschew the overly complicated stuff. Pain is not difficult to measure and a simple horizontal line is the most effective tool. Charts work because people look at them. It is a self-fulfilling prophesy I'd take your self-fulfilling prophecy a step further and say that Price is as fundamental as any other bit of fundamental data. People look at price all the time, on a chart or not.
