I agree. Using a double standard is illogical. And that is exactly what you are doing.

For instance, I'm sure you can agree with me, that a crime was committed, and the Iranian security forces got away with murder, in this case:
guardian.co.uk

But you automatically, consistently, find a way to deny, minimize, explain away, and demand an impossibly high standard of proof, when the U.S. Army does the exact same thing.

When Jacob says "using a double standard is illogical," by "double standard" he means noticing that Al Qaeda or the PLO behave differently from the US army. To him, they are no different.

As he has said, the US army kills people, and so does AQ, so there's no difference.
