IP is being shoveled overseas as fast as both Washington and foreign countries and companies can manage. It isn't like the 1980s where Japan bought overpriced real estate and later lost it back to us. IP is being acquired and used against us, turning us into mindless consumer-slaves, gradually less able to fend for ourselves with US-made resources.

re: DARPA, I was on a wireless networking project that got $1.5 million incubation funding from DARP in early 1990s, it was terrific, with great people to work with. It's like Disneyland for scientists and engineers, the best in the world available on a moments' notice, and you can work on pure blue sky. Kind of reminds me of Napolean Hill for techies, "whatever you can conceive and believe, you can achieve", lol!

There's a dark side to that now, they are allowing lethality to be a primary focus, including biowarfare, some programs getting funded to resurrect and modify the worst plagues in history to be undefendable, just for "research". Insane, and must be stopped.
