Ergo the FNM Mar & Apr 75 poots are a tad busy -- just about as much fun as you have for under a dollar

Erlanger is a genius of our time, comments on Fanny
amazing to me that cracks have already formed in FannyMae
many cracks too numerous to mention
but investors in their stock and bonds are big players
my theory is that as long as central banks own significant positions, institutions will continue to see a green light
and small investors will remain in the game, even piling on, buying the dips

the watershed event for me was StLouis Fed governor Poole announcing in March 2003 that Fanny was grossly undercapitalized, was a danger to the entire US Economy
the stock was trounced, from 70 to 55 or so
but since rebounded

I think until we have either central bank selling in Asia
OR
serious simultaneous Moodys and S&P and Finch debt downgrade
nothing will happen

I believe we already have witnessed Fitch downgrade
