Yes, they do, and for the same reasons. They think it is the height of illegitimacy to be told we have to get permission slips from a corrupt France in order to do US foreign policy or even uphold UN sanctions.

We now know - know for certain - that the "principled" opposition to the war was based on huge oil bribes from Saddam. But I don't expect that will change your opinion of UNSC "legitimacy"

The UN is being raised by the transnationalists into the exalted posiition that the Catholic Church had in the high Middle Ages. Like church supporters, they have to proclaim that the "mystery" is intact no matter how corrupt the actual priesthood is discovered to be. Otherwise, the whole game falls apart.
