John Kerry is on the defensive with a new ad that appeared today.

I just watched it. What will people remember? "900 Billion Tax increase." He is denying it, but in a way that reinforces it in people's minds.

Kind of like, "I deny that I ever beat my wife!" Oh, someone accused you of it? Hmmm.

spending & simultaneously claiming to get the deficit
under control.
