What was the motive? The hatred of enemies, which I read daily, on this thread and in the words of all our leaders That is such a totally lame excuse for a motive I'm sure that even you don't fall for it. In fact, there was no motive. No conceivable short-term or long-term benefit. So you have to clutch at straws of "hatred of enemies". Is there a pattern of the enemies of the US dying off in jail, used for target practice by out-of-control guards? Gee, you would think there would be a really high mortality in Guantanimo where they keep the Al Qaeda terrorists. You have no evidence. None. Not a smidgeon. You are just determined (willing is too weak a word) to believe that the US has to be every bit as bad as Al Qaeda. What is it about your warped world view that you cannot stand to admit that the US (or Italy, or Israel) does not behave in the same way as Al Qaeda (or the Ba'athist, or Hizbullah, or Hamas), in the teeth of a mountain of evidence to the contrary?
