I think that government is way too big. Bush and the republican led congress have perpetuated that bloat by some whacky spending. We all know about the pork, the Hooter's restaurants, and the special projects for "my district".

We need reform...big time. But Spending like it's going out of style, and at the same time cutting taxes on the top end doesn't make sense. It's like writing a bad check and then going down to HFC and floating a loan to cover the check. And it sure as hell hasn't created any jobs.

That doesn't mean I'm against all collective spending. Military spending is a must. Beyond that education and infrastructure are our best investments. But spending...without revenue...is ludicrous. We'll all pay through the nose later to cover this party.

And I do mean party...where the special interests and friends of Bush have made a killing...and for the middle class it's bend over.
