The ITV documentary also had Trevor MacDonald thechronicle.demon.co.uk talking to Colin Powell (our famous black guy talking to the USA's famous black guy (apart from Tiger Woods etc)) about the accusations raised by Mr. Udeen. Colin Powell's comments were that Afghanistan was a terrorist country, and the authorities had to protect people from the terrorist loonies that were there. He made a good case. Not to say that things could be handled better, and the "West" needs Muslims on the it's side rather then the other. I think the war on terrorism can be won, but it will be along the lines of reduced oil consumption by the West, leaving the whackos without power, rather then military intervention.
