Yes it would be great to spend the Summer in Europe on vacation............but working there is a bit different. ALL the computer controls and program directions are in a foreign language. Even the hotel need special converters for the US laptops. Last time in Germany we couldn't use our laptops at all in the hotel. We were able to access the web from the site we were working at cause they graciously gave us one of their computers. We were learning the Excel commands in German !! LOL....MS Word also. And then you do have to learn the language if you are interacting with others, which we were. I do speak some German so that t wasn't too much of a problem but even the TV was not in ENglish...........I had to listen to MTV in order to get English..............what a joke that was. I don't normally like TV but with no computer I was bored. EVen if you understand some of the language it's hard to think in a foreign language so I was constantly slower than everyone else in regard to understanding what was said. I always had to translate it in my mind before I could respond.

ANyway, we will see what happens. I would go if necessary but it would be tough. It's hard to get any personal business done when you are so far away.
