Bush went awol in 1972, no record of him and no explanation for 7 months at least. Not a single person has stepped up to claim the some $15,000 in rewards which have been dsitting there for anyone who saw GW report for duty in Alabama. All the records the Wh released show is that GW had a dentist appt in Alabama. GW's father was then head of the RNC like Ed Gillespie. He could have gotten away with just taking off, and he obviously did. Then he got out 8 months early to gop to Harvard. That's 15 months in all at least. awolbush.com for details
