"end to absinthe ban"

Ahh, but will it "taste" as sweat, if it's not banned.

Great Wall crashes

CHINA'S first man in space has created history again -- by causing the "fall" of the Great Wall.

For decades, Chinese clung to the myth that the Great Wall, thousands of kilometres long but a few metres across, could be seen from space. That evaporated when Yang Liwei returned from orbit last year and said it could not be seen from the heavens.

Now the Government has ordered publishers to correct the falsehood in school textbooks.

Triumph of the Hegemon. With the "fall" of the wall, only Camp Bondsteel remains as a candidate for the "works of man" that can be seen from space. KBR uber alles.

In sectors controlled by other Western powers, KFOR soldiers who are living in bombed out apartment blocks and old factories joke, “What are the two things that can be seen from space? One is the Great Wall of China, the other is Camp Bondsteel.”
