Its the same isolationist thread that pops up during many of our wars. Its usually Taft type conservatives who talk of american first, fortress american and so on. Buchanan represents this strain. But this time its the left buying into this crap. It's the head up the butt syndrome. They are so scared that they are willing to trade in the womens rights, gay rights, etc agenda to appease the islamic terrorists in the vain hope you can strike a deal with the devil and actually get him to change his stripes thru osmosis. mike
