I agree with this statement of yours and this is the reason why. Notice you used the phrase "if they search enough". There are many people who have settled for lower paying jobs. I know of a Oracle hotshot, who got laid off from Oracle headquarters in California, six figure salary. He now works at a drug store as a database data entry person making $10 an hour. Notice though that he has a job offer from Oracle to go and work in India at less that half the salary he was making at Oracle.
