The world is also uniting to answer the unique and urgent threat posed by Iraq.
- George W. Bush, Nov. 23, 2002

The people of the United States and our friends and allies will not live at the mercy of an outlaw regime that threatens the peace with weapons of mass murder.
- George W. Bush, address to U.S., March 19, 2003

Neither of those quotes amounts to anything like "positively - as God is my witness ARE WEAPONS in Iraq and he is going to use them to blow up American cities within the next few months."

You are certainly free to blame bush for overestimating the urgency of the threat. You might even want to accuse him of lying about it, but if your going to call him to task for his inaccurate statements then you should do so through accurate statements not through your own inaccurate statements. I know that what I quoted wasn't your statement, it was posted by Tigerpaw but you defended it. It is also true that Tigerpaw led the statement with "Bush said, in effect", making it clear it wasn't an exact quote, but it was more then just not an exact quote, it was a misrepresentation of what Bush said. It was not just a restatement of what Bush said with different words.
