I agree with you. More verification should have been done before starting the war because of WMD. Bush was absolutely wrong, it was one of the worst decisions of a President...ever.

So you are saying that if Bush comes out and says that during meetings with foreign leaders they have stressed to him that he must defeat Kerry, you will have no interest in knowing who said that for your own verification and it will be perfectly ok to do so?

On the Kerry front, he has every right to make that statement about foreign leader support for his candidacy. He does not have to reveal any more if he chooses to do so. Majority believe him and they register what he said as one of the factors they will use to support him. He has taken the better side of his judgement in not revealing the names to get the support of those who are not going to support him, no matter what.
