That's a excellent point. SOmehow we don't have compassion for people who are different.

I made a point on another thread about how the press ridiculed Palestinians who cheered when the WTC was bombed , yet they honored the people of Crawford Texas who cheered when our bombs started dropping on Kabul. Both outbursts were wrong as they were celebratory of someone else's pain and agony.

there is a lot of insensitivity towards victims gathering in a mosque, I'm sorry to say. It is terrible to think that a place of worship such as a mosque creates an image of violence and scheming on the part of so many westerners. Had the tragedy happened on a train in iraq or an office building (or even worse, a school), the rection may have been different.

Another example of "worthy" and unworthy" victims?
All victims are "worthy" as Humans.
BUT: The killers are the same in both cases.....
