to synopsize:

Trade- try to fix the undervalued yuan, add environmental and labor standards to all trade agreements and enforce it, force India and other closed countries to open up and drop exports, and intellectual property laws.

Jobs- remove the offshore advantage in taxes (this will be hard and he gives no details, true), call center disclosure of location, US contracts for US workers only, tax credit for american manufacturing, give workers 3 mos notice prior to offshoring their jobs

Nothing radical, but frankly the Bush administrations inability to even treat the jobless in the US with an ounce of dignity means Kerry wins this battle by a mile.

And anybody that thinks "terror" is the number one issue in the US is either retired or close to retirement. Everybody else is worried about thier job, period.
