Many of those are good ideas. Some of them violate international law and/or treaties.

But none of them nention any sort of punishment for firms that outsource jobs. Which is what AS was claiming Kerry's policy was. Having to give notice of outsourcing is not punishment. Unless you think it's okay for somebody to rob a bank and not be punished for it as long as they announce their plans in advance?

Offshoring trade and outsourcing jobs are two totally different things.

And BTW, please explain how enforcing trade laws will stop the manufacturing job drain. That frankly doesn't make sense. Even if all the trade laws against Mexico or Malayasia were 100% enforced, which would take hundreds of millions of dollars, their production would still be a ton cheaper than US production. That's not the problem, and if Kerry thinks it is, he doesn't understand trade law.
