It's called sarcasm. I still say the opening paragraphs of the report have some meaning too. As does what Greenspan says. If the dems want to insist all is well with SS and Medicare then I'm not going to spend a lot of time arguing the other side. Maybe Greenspan and Will are lying and all is well. Like I have said before, I would contribute the 26 years I have put into the system if they would let me out. My feeling is that individuals could do better, but the dem position is that we are too stupid (as is you position) to do that. It's a government boondogle in my opionion that pays far less than what is put in. I have a corporation (an extemely small one), so I pay over 15% into the system. Wish I could afford to put that much into my own plan. But again, that is offensive to the dems, and they will sell what a great plan this is and what a favor they are doing for everybody by forcing them into the system.
