I'm sorry, but I don't accept your implication that anything short of of invading and reinventing Iraq is appeasement. I would think that you would consider it a big step forward for Europe to buy the notion that there is no excuse for terrorism, after all, and that the Israelis might just be victims, after all. I would think that you would also value their coming around to the notion that we have a war paradigm rather than a law enforcement paradigm. Does the glass have to be overflowing not to be empty?
